Swimming is a sport that I’ve never practice before. But since my marathon I felt the need to do some lighter sport than running, mostly for my knees.
I choose my equipment with Speedo because it was not so expensive and good quality for excessive use. I’ve selected a basic swimsuit, sporty one, with a swimming cap from Colette and a classical pair of swimming goggles.
At the beginning it was hard to breath under water. So I learnt to breathe in with the mouth and breathe out with the noise. Then I learnt to breath slowly no matter the effort. So it’s hours of breaststroke.
Few days ago I added some crawl movements into my exercising training. One arm each time. I’ll have to spend hours training before being able to swim crawl for 50m.
