Day 2 – Typical Sicilian villages and beach

San Marco d'Alunzio, Sicilia, Italy • Published on Thursday June 15th, 2017

For this day we ere sopposed to visit Taormina we the g7 closed the whole city. So we’ve decided to visit typical Sicilian villages.

  • Gallodoro : a small village without huge touristic buildings, just a small square, churches and typical roads. The view over there was magical.
  • San Marco D’Alunzio : also a village with breathtaking view. Overthere we’ve tried a local restaurant called La Macina. No menu, you just have to ask for local antipastis (can be vegan!!) with local specialities. If it’s not enough they have pastas. Something to know, they offered us the dessert. Total paid: 36€ for 2 antipastis, water and the dining cost.
  • Tyndaris : it’s our beach destination for the afternoon. A small calm beach with only locals.
